KPI (Kebaktian Penyegaran Iman)

Ok so about a week ago me and my whole school (except the 9 grade) went to... I don't know, I actualy forget about it. But hey! I Didn't say I forgot it all! So long story short, we went to a church that is named by local as GKI Anugrah or Anugerah. Don't complaint I told you that I forgot some details right!
So what am I doing here. Well actualy it's just like what we all do in a church hearing someone do a sermon and bla bla bla. But it was just extra long because there are lots of things to cover and honestly I don't really like it.
As I alredy told you... I forgot some details. But I remember thia moment the most, the moment went we must kneel and the person in front gave us all great sad story. It's so dramatic that it made me wonder "Wow, how does this person go through so many interesting things just before she make a sermon?" Anyone else wonder that? Oo yeah and also that touching moment went we must said sorry to all person we talked behind their back, it's emberassing but yet it felt good at the same time

Best Gifts Ever!

A quite nice morning indeed. As usual I woke up in the morning and did all my basic stuff, in rush. That day was a very busy day, there were 2 test and 3 assignment. No wonder I got very frustated that day.

As you all know I was in a hurry that day, I never want to be late. Somehow my brain always tell me “Be the first Will!” Yup, like that. But in reality it’s not often for me to fail. By the way have I introduce myself? My name is William, a 12 years old 7^th grader student. Back to the story! So I arrived about 6 in the morning and manage to study again for my test. Because you know, no one wanted to get bad mark.

About 8 hours had finally past and at last I could said “So long school !” And again forgot to tell you this is Friday and I have no school in Saturday! My heart is pumping out of excitment! Getting away from our class, out of the school! Play all kind of game and doing other stuff at Saturday! Well that was what i'm thinking about until the speaker on top of our class scream out loud. Bringing dissapoinment in my life. Long story short the speaker told us to bring something to donate to people that have disabilities and we must bring it tomorrow. Well that’s really a last moment announcement.

I manage to sleep at night after going through selection of my unused clothes and woke up earlier than usual to pack all the stuff and went I left my home I was thinking to myself “ well at least I could see my friends. “

At school everyone was in the school center point. I was not late and I was not the last. But I really don’t know why some of them are excited about this activity, not like me. With a bus we went along the street for a couple of hour, driving through the traffic jam into our final destination. One by one we got out from the bus with our stuff that we were donating. Then all the student started scattering around the place giving their things to the people . People that is not as lucky as us, and they need it more than we do. And the feeling that come through us went we see them smile when we help them. That day they receive a lot of help and that day I receive the best gift ever.

Happy Chinese New Year!

Chinese New Year, a tradition that have been celebrate by many for a long time. Today is nothing different. Like what you expect when an ordinary person celebrate a Chinese New Year nothing goes much different from last year which doesn't goes much more different from the last 2 years. Chinese New Year is not all about the 'ang pao' (Red Envelope), It's about the joy and happiness when a full family come together, all happy celebrating what so long ago used to be a farmer celebration to the new coming spring.

But for me, the most exiting part is... yeah when we receive ang pao which is equal to receiving money. For me it's kinda embarrassing when you have to say the magic word (gong xi fa cai or Kiong Hi) to get what your looking for. But at least we don't have to beg our parents anymore for a week or two! Or maybe a month if you are really efficient at spending it.

Today is a good day the amount of money I got is pretty good. The exact quantity is... still classified.

Maybe I will tell you next time or maybe never. But I can tell you that this year amount of money is worse than last year, which is worse than 2 years ago.

So all this typing is making me tired. I want to sleep and end my day. But it all lead into one thing. My reason to write this blog. My message to the world. Saying Happy Chinese New Year! Or maybe Lunar New Year and have a great and lucky year in the Year of  Monkey!

How to make a Watermelon Pops

Preparation is done in estimated: 35 minutes

Ready in estimated: 3 hours 35 minutes

Material needed:

• 1 cup of sugar
• 3 ounce of package JELL-O Lime Flavor Gelatin
• 2 cups of boiling water, divided
• ice cube
• 1 cup of cold water, divided
• 3 ounce of package JELL-O Strawberry Flavor Gelatin
• 3 tablespoons miniature semi-sweet chocolate chips
• 4 ounces PHILADEPHIA Cream Cheese softened
• 1 1/2 cups thawed COOL WHIP Whipped Topping

 Steps :

1.     Prepare all the things needed to make the popsicles.

2.     Mix 1/3 cup sugar and lime gelatin and mix in a bowl. Add a cup boiling water then stir it until it completely dissolved.

3.     Add enough ice to 1/2 cup cold water to measure about 3/4 cup. Add it to the lime gelatin, stir it until the ice is completely melted then refrigerate it for about 25 minute.

4.     Repeat Step 1 but instead lime gelatin use the strawberry gelatin mix and omitting the refrigeration step.

5.     Pour it into 16 (3-oz.) paper cups and freeze it for about 20 min.

6.     Stir 1/2 tea spoon of chocolate chips into the strawberry gelatin in each cup.

7.     Beat the cream cheese and remaining sugar with a mixer in the bowl. Beat it until it is well blended. Stir it in a cool whip then spread it over gelatin in cups.

8.     Pour lime gelatin over the cream cheese mixture. Insert the wooden pop stick into gelatin in the center of each cup. Freeze it for about 3 hours or at least until it is firm.

9.     Remove pops from cups just before serving it.

Last holiday.

Hey, do you like travelling? Cause I do. If you accidentally hear the word 'travelling', let me ask you something. "What things come first into your mind?" Maybe someplace overseas, or plane (maybe a vessel), a luxurious hotel! But mostly you are thinking about the currency you need to go away from your job and other stressful activity! Come on admit it you want to go out somewhere right? 

Well in my last vacation you need to forget about almost everything I just said, if you live in Java Island, Indonesia like me! In my last vacation I went to Pangandaran,West Java, Indonesia. If you are from outside Java Island, you need a plane or maybe other kind of transportation to fly to Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia, and from there you can either use a plane to fly or a train to Pangandaran. Either way you will need to use a car because there is literally no station or airports located in the city of Pangandaran, and you will need to drive again to get there. But both ways are still better than driving a car by  yourselves, cause trust me you don't want to sit in the middle of a traffic jam. It's really painful. Oo yeah, just so you know Pangandaran is classified to be relatively cheap by domestic tourist. So don't worry. Your wallet won't be as thin after countless day after workout.

Ok, let just say once you arrive in Pangandaran, but you don't know where to stay, this is where I usually stay.

Currently this is the one of the biggest resort/hotel in Pangandaran. It offers many great features for a good amount of money.

What I just showed you are some of this hotel's features, actually there are many more! Unfortunately I don't have anymore picture about this hotel, but that doesn't mean I can't type it for you! This hotel is right beside the sea. The view is really beautiful here. There is a tennis and basketball courts! You want to sing? No worry, there is a karaoke room. For the lazy one there is a sand/pool combination so you don't have to go outside the hotel and there are still more that I'm to lazy to tell. Almost forgot, of course there is a Wi-Fi connection in the lobby.

What else can we do in Pangandaran? Here are some things that I did that time.

You can go outside and straightly play water sports.

Indonesia is a land with so many beautiful thing to see and so does Pangandaran. There are plenty things to do and see here.

The truth is actually there are lot of other thing in Pangandaran, but I don't have the time to visit them all. What I just showed you are some of the thing I took as a memory. Maybe when you visit this place you will explore it yourselves!
